Treat Selection: Día Especial

A fruity sweet specialty from Nicaragua for lovers of specialty espressos

Gold Mountain Coffee Growers (GMCG) is a social enterprise that, in addition to its own farm (Finca Idealista), collaborates with other local coffee producers in Nicaragua to jointly sell their coffees that meet their own quality standards.

GMCG representatives are constantly present on the farms and work with producers whose farms are suitable for growing this quality of coffee (altitude, suitable soil conditions) and who are willing to put in the work required to grow specialty coffee.

GMCG provides a lot of support to the coffee-growing community , such as free computer classes for girls, medical assistance, microloans, running water to schools, and donating educational materials.

By purchasing Gold Mountain coffees, you can not only taste an exceptionally good coffee, but you can also be sure that your money is going to a good place, supporting the producer community!

The box contains 10 Nespresso* compatible coffee capsules (249 HUF/pc).

As the name we chose suggests, this coffee"a special day"fruit.

Sometimes, in very lucky cases, it happens that a harvest on a given daygives a special taste, and that's exactly what this coffee is about. The harvests from several farms for this special day were blended together and sold as such. Accordingly, thisa truly limited edition, since it amounted to a few hundred kg in total (that's how much the whole world shares!).

It consists of Red and Yellow Caturra, Red and Yellow Catuai, and a small amount of Red Pacamara. All of themperfectly ripeharvested as cherries and dried for about 34 days in raised beds.

We directlyGold Mountain Coffee GrowersWe bought it from representatives of the community, meaning there is no intermediary trader: everything we paid for the coffee went to the community!
