Treat Selection: El Jardin

40 years ago, Elmer Restrepo started his career in a coffee processing plant, and soon became his own farm, called El Jardin. The farm is currently managed by his son Juan Felipe. They are obsessed with experimenting with new processing methods (this is how this coffee went, soaked for 48 hours under water, then dried in the sun after fermentation), with sustainable production, in order to achieve the best possible result. The farm covers a total area of ​​150 hectares.

Our El Jardin capsule contains the flavors and aromas developed during fermentation, it may be unusual for many at first, but you will love it very quickly!

Colombia accounts for approx. of the world's coffee production. gives 10%. Among the SHG (Strictly High Grown) coffees grown in higher regions (between 1200 and 1800 meters), we selected those that really fit the capsules of our "Treat" line. The capital of the Caldas region is Manizales, the second largest university city in Colombia (it's no coincidence that the level of coffee consumption is even higher...) represent quality.

Before you start making coffee, make sure that your machine is clean! (there are no capsules in it, you washed out the water, etc.). This is very important, since these coffees have a very clean taste, even the slightest contamination (scale, coffee oil, grounds, etc.) can be disturbing!

Insert the capsule and use the short button to prepare a drink of 25-30 ml (approx. 20-25 grams). We specifically set El Jardin as a short-flow presso, which is how we think it can show its real face!
